The variety belongs to the "Rote Kugel" (Red Ball) type with a growing season of about 130 days. The root crops have a rounded shape, uniform coloring, tender smooth skin, a thin leaf attachment point and a well-defined thin taproot.
The flesh of the root crop possesses an intense color, sweet taste and aroma. Studies confirm a high content of sugars (Brix) and betalains. The variety was adapted for the conditions of biodynamic farming, taking into account the requirements for reliability in organic farming systems.
