Danton is a sugar beet hybrid specialized for industrial sugar production. The crop is not intended for use as a table vegetable or culinary processing.
The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to pathogens such as rhizomania and Cercospora leaf spot. During scientific studies of the root crops of this variety, indicators of yield, sugar content, and characteristics of harmful nitrogen accumulation were recorded.
