The variety belongs to polyploid forms of sugar beet, specifically triploid hybrids. Its creation was the result of using breeding methods based on the application of colchicine to obtain tetraploids.
The development of the variety is associated with the work of Polish researchers A. Filutowicz and A. Kużdowicz, who worked on sugar beet breeding methods to increase crop productivity.
