The variety belongs to polyploid (anisoploid) multigerm sugar beet forms. Its appearance was the result of introducing methods for obtaining tetraploid plants into the breeding process.
The variety was intended for industrial processing. At present, it is a historical variety and does not possess resistance to modern pathogens such as rhizomania or nematodes.
