Variety description

The plant forms a broad, bushy habit. The leaves are large, broad-lanceolate, green with a reddish margin along the edges, which becomes more pronounced in the autumn period.
The flowers are of a purple-crimson shade with an amethyst tint and are collected in narrow spicate inflorescences. The variety is distinguished by sturdy stems resistant to lodging.
The perennial is frost-hardy (USDA zone 5 and above) and prefers sunny or semi-shaded sites with fertile, sufficiently moist soil. The plant possesses high resistance to diseases and pests.
