Variety description

The plant forms a compact, dense, upright bush. Leaves are dark green, heart-shaped or lanceolate, and may acquire yellowish shades in autumn. Inflorescences are long, spike-shaped, developing from very dark, almost black buds into bright red or ruby flowers.
The variety is winter-hardy, withstanding temperature drops down to -25°C. Prefers sunny or partially shaded areas with moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Used in ornamental gardening for mixed borders, decorating water bodies, and creating naturalistic flower beds.
