The variety is early-maturing; the period from emergence to technical ripeness is from 50–60 to 70 days. The plant is compact, reaching a height of 20–50 cm. The stem-tubers have a deep purple color, smooth skin, and a flattened-round or spherical shape.
The flesh is white, tender, and juicy, possessing a mild flavor with a nutty or sweetish undertone. The recommended diameter for harvesting is 7–10 cm; if allowed to overgrow, they become coarse. The variety is cold-hardy and requires regular watering to prevent cracking and coarsening of the tubers.
The variety is for universal use, consumed fresh and thermally processed. The leaves of the plant are also edible, resembling kale in taste.
