The variety is an early-maturing hybrid with a ripening period of 35 to 60 days. The plant is compact, reaching a height of 20–30 cm. The stem tuber has a flat-round shape, a smooth pale green surface, and creamy white flesh. The leaves are dark green and slightly broad.
The produce is characterized by high uniformity in size and maturity timing. The optimal diameter for harvest is 5–7.5 cm. The variety is resistant to bolting, which allows for longer retention of fruit quality. The flesh has a sweetish taste and does not become tough when overmature.
Quickstar is suitable for cultivation in open fields, film greenhouses, containers, and raised beds. It is used both fresh and after heat treatment, including boiling and frying.
