The variety is mid-late; the period from transplanting to harvest ranges from 95 to 140 days. The plant forms large flat or flat-rounded heads of moderate density weighing 3–5 kg. The variety is undemanding regarding growing conditions and adapts well to various soil types, preferring fertile and moist ones.
The cabbage is intended mainly for amateur cultivation. The produce is used for autumn consumption and culinary processing, being one of the best varieties for sauerkraut. The variety is not intended for long-term storage; however, under proper conditions, the heads can be kept until February.
