The variety is a turnip with flat roots, featuring white flesh and a high dry matter content. The crop is distinguished by its resistance to clubroot of crucifers and is suitable for cultivation throughout the entire season.

The plant has been known in Norway for over a hundred years and is traditionally used as a forage crop for winter livestock maintenance, while the roots are also suitable for human consumption.
