The variety has lobed leaves and a semi-erect growth habit. The roots are characterized by a tankard shape, in which a cylindrical root narrows towards the middle.

The plant has lemon-yellow flowers and an average stem length. The variety is traditionally used in agronomic systems to provide grazing for agricultural animals.
