The root vegetables have a diameter of 6–8 cm. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, as well as for stewing, baking, and the preparation of soups and purées. All parts of the plant are edible, and the taste is characterized as strong.

The plant belongs to F1 hybrids, therefore its varietal characteristics are not maintained in subsequent generations when collecting seeds. The variety is included in international catalogs for testing for distinctness, uniformity, and stability.
