The root has an elongated shape resembling a carrot, white crisp flesh, and purple coloration in the upper part. The plant forms a green semi-erect leaf rosette.

The variety is late-maturing; the period from germination to technical maturity is about 80 days. The crop is characterized by high yield and disease resistance.

The variety is of multi-purpose use, suitable for fresh consumption, roasting, preparing soups and stews, and can also be used as a forage crop for livestock.
