The root crops have a rounded shape with a combined color: red upper part and white lower part. The plant forms a rosette of leaves reaching a height of 20–50 cm. The variety is classified as an autumn turnip, but can also be grown as a summer one.

The root crops have firm flesh and a sweetish taste with slight pungency; the plant's leaves can also be consumed as food. The variety is early or mid-season. Sowing is carried out from April to August, harvesting is possible from August to November–December.

The variety is traditional and is characterized by hardiness, is undemanding to soils, and grows successfully in a wide range of conditions.
