Root crops have a characteristic round shape and bicolored coloration. The plant has a rosette growth type, reaching a height of 20 to 50 cm, in some cases up to 1 m. Both tender and crunchy root crops with a cabbage flavor and young leaves as salad greens are used for food.

The variety belongs to the reliable and resistant category, capable of producing a high yield in cool weather. The optimal sowing time falls in July and August, the recommended distance between rows is about 30 cm with a seed planting depth of 1–2 cm. The variety is often used in scientific research as a model for breeding work.
