The variety forms a leaf rosette and root crops with a dry matter content of 5–8%. The plant is distinguished by high resistance to low temperatures and possesses tolerance to diseases characteristic of this species.

The variety is intended for feeding ruminants and for cultivation as an intermediate crop. Recommended sowing times fall in the period from July to early August. The crop prefers fertile sandy-loam soils, does not tolerate acidic soils, and is suitable for storage in clamps until December.
