The root vegetable has an elongated shape. Its distinctive feature is its coloration: the part of the root vegetable protruding above the soil surface has a violet-red hue, and the main part of the root vegetable is colored white.

The variety is also known under the name Long du Palatinat and belongs to the category of heirloom regional varieties preserved in collections. Intended for consumption at a young age.
