The roots have a round, flattened shape, the skin is light green or has a green 'collar', and the surface may be slightly rough. The root flesh is white.

The variety is distinguished by its rapid growth and good cold hardiness; it is capable of overwintering in the open field and is suitable for cultivation in high-altitude conditions. The turnip is used both raw and cooked.
