The variety is mid-early, with a ripening period of 45 to 65 days after sowing. The root crops are spherical, with the upper part protruding above the soil colored purple, and the lower part creamy white. The flesh is white, fine-grained, and tender, reaching 10–13 cm in diameter; the roots are considered most flavorful at a diameter of 5–8 cm.
The plant reaches a height of about 60 cm due to its foliage. Both root crops and young leaves are consumed. The variety is open-pollinated, undemanding, well-adapted to a cool climate, and suitable for fresh consumption and heat treatment, as well as historically used as a forage crop.
