The RANA variety belongs to the Bortfeld turnip type. In studies, it is characterized as a mid-late specimen possessing productivity indicators and a specific biochemical composition.

Under trial conditions, the average root weight was about 52.25 g, plant height was about 64.25 cm, and root diameter was about 66.25 mm. The root flesh is yellow in color.

The variety is used in breeding programs as a donor of valuable traits for improving the productivity and quality of other turnip varieties.
