Variety description

The root crops have a top-shaped or slightly flattened form, reaching 15 cm in diameter. The surface is white with a purple shade in the upper part. The flesh is firm, crisp, with a delicate sweetish taste.

The variety is early-maturing and rapidly developing. It possesses good resistance to drought and high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -15°C. The plant height is about 10 cm.

Used fresh, as well as for preparing soups, purees, and stewed dishes. It belongs to the category of heirloom varieties of folk selection from the Auvergne region.
