The variety is an erect, highly tillering plant with a high rate of regrowth after mowing or grazing. It is used in pasture lands, often in mixed sowings with red clover and chicory.

An important biological feature is the prolonged period of panicle emergence, which allows the plant to maintain a high proportion of leaves and forage quality for longer in late spring and early summer. The variety possesses good establishment upon sowing and resistance to rust.
