The Dallas variety is a decorative form of Calluna vulgaris, belonging to the Skyline® series. The plant is valued for the aesthetic qualities of its foliage and the shape of the bush, with almost no formation of full inflorescences.
The bush reaches a height of about 30 cm. The stems have a lime-green color, which changes to yellow-orange and red tones when the temperature drops below 0°C. The variety belongs to the early category of the series classification and possesses winter hardiness down to -29°C.
