The Hera variety is a sport (mutation) of the Helena heather. The plant belongs to the group of bud-flowering heathers, in which the buds do not open fully, which extends the period of decorativeness from September to December.
The color of the buds corresponds to pale pink (code H16 according to the RHS classification), and the leaf color is medium-green. The habit of the bush is compact; three years after planting, the height is about 30 cm with a crown width of 25 cm.
