The variety is a compact, dense, and upright shrub. Its distinctive feature is the bright yellow color of the foliage, which persists throughout the year, combined with cherry-colored semi-double flowers.
The plant reaches a height of 20–40 cm. The flowering period occurs from August to October. The variety is frost-hardy, requires good drainage and acidic soil with a pH level of 4.5–5.5, and does not tolerate waterlogging.
It is used for landscape design, including plantings in rock gardens, alpine gardens, mixed borders, and containers.
