The variety is a non-flowering clone, the decorative value of which is provided exclusively by the texture and black-green color of the foliage during the summer period. The bush has a wide, upright form.
The plant reaches a height and width of about 25–30 cm three years after planting, provided that it is pruned. The variety corresponds to USDA climate zone 7, prefers sunny locations and well-drained acidic soils with a pH level of 4.5–6.5.
