The plant reaches a height of 45 to 120 cm, featuring dark stems and green leaves. The fruits have a thin, long shape in the style of cayenne pepper and grow up to 10–15 cm in length.
The fruit ripening process passes through stages of purple, pink, orange, and brown colors, finishing with a dark red hue. The pungency of the fruits is between 3,000 and 50,000 SHU; the flavor is characterized by sweetness and earthy notes.
The variety is considered high-yielding and productive, suitable for culinary use in fresh and dried form, as well as for making powder. Due to its decorative appearance, it is often grown as a garden ornament.
