The variety belongs to the "Ratund" group and is a local Bulgarian genetic resource. The plant is a compact bush 50 to 90 cm in height. The fruits are pendant, oblate-spherical in shape, resembling a tomato, with pronounced ribbing.
The vegetation period is 115 to 150 days. In technical maturity, the fruits are dark green; in botanical maturity, they are red, reaching a weight of 80–160 g with a diameter of 8–11 cm and a height of 4.5–5.5 cm. The variety is characterized by high yield and is used for the production of pickles and lyutenitsa.
In agronomic studies, the variety's response to bacterial spot, early blight, and viral infections was evaluated.
