ROYAL SLUIS
10 August 2026
The variety is the result of breeding started in 2008 based on local pepper populations collected in Galicia. The goal of the work was to isolate uniform lines possessing the characteristics typical of the region's traditional varieties, followed by their conservation and commercialization.
The fruits are of the California type and have a shape close to square. They possess a dark green color and flesh of medium to large thickness. The fruits can be consumed at both the technical maturity and biological maturity stages.
