The variety is open-pollinated, mid-season; fruits ripen 74–85 days after transplanting. The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 60–90 cm, with good foliage that protects the fruits from sunburn.
Fruits are large, four-lobed, blocky in shape, approximately 10–11 cm long and 9–10 cm wide, with thick, fleshy walls. Fruit color changes from dark green at technical maturity to bright red at full maturity.
The variety has resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, but does not have resistance to Meloidogyne incognita. It has strong stems, which contributes to the plant's resistance to lodging.
