The variety belongs to the Lamuyo type, the fruits of which are characterized by an elongated shape. The plant is used in professional vegetable growing, including use as a rootstock for the production of grafted seedlings.

In scientific research, the variety serves as an object for studying resistance to root rot caused by Fusarium oxysporum, as well as to the effects of root-knot nematodes of the genus Meloidogyne.
