Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is an annual herbaceous crop with a semi-determinate spreading bush reaching 80–100 cm in height. The period from emergence to fruiting is 110–115 days. The crop is adapted to a temperate climate and is suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation, requiring staking due to the spreading habit of the bush.

The fruits are cone-shaped, resembling a beak, with a length of 7–10 cm, a width of 3–4 cm, and an average weight reaching 80 g. At biological maturity, the fruits acquire a bright red color. The flesh is dense and meaty with thin skin; the flavor is sweet with light spicy notes, and the pungency ranges from 500–1000 Scoville heat units.

The variety is widely used in cooking, being a benchmark for roasting and stuffing due to its ability to retain its shape during heat treatment. The fruits are also actively used in the canning industry, where they are traditionally roasted, peeled, and marinated.
