The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group. The plant is of medium height. The fruits are vertically upright and colored red or dark red.
The fruits are characterized by a high sugar content and a sweet taste without pungency. The variety was developed through selective breeding from local populations adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the Danube Lowland region.
The purpose of the variety is technical: growing fruits for subsequent processing into ground sweet paprika used as a spice and natural coloring agent.
