The variety is an oilseed crop. The seeds are used for the production of edible oil and biodiesel, as well as in bird feed mixtures. The plant petals are being researched as a source of the natural dye carthamin.

The variety shows good results under winter sowing, which provides a higher oil yield. It is characterized by active branching and the lowest sum of active temperatures required to complete the development cycle.

Seed chemical composition indicators include a protein content of about 15.4% and fiber of about 24.26%. The seed moisture level during storage is about 5.53%. The variety is distinguished by its relative early maturity compared to a number of other genotypes.
