This clone is a hybrid of Castanea sativa and Castanea crenata, created within the framework of breeding programs for reforestation. The material is focused on timber production and is widely used as a qualified forestry resource.

The main breeding advantage of the variety is its resistance to ink disease (Phytophthora cinnamomi), which affects plant roots. Morphological data, information on ripening times, and other characteristics typical of fruit crops are absent for this clone due to its exclusively forestry purpose.
