The plant has an upright habit, reaching a width of 90–120 cm. The leaves are ovate, dark green with a characteristic gloss. The shoots are devoid of thorns, which is a distinctive feature of this variety.
Flowering occurs in early spring with large double orange flowers; repeat flowering is possible in early summer. The variety is exclusively ornamental and does not produce fruit.
The plant has high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to –25°C, as well as resistance to drought after the establishment period. Recommended for solitary plantings, hedges, or container cultivation.
