The variety is a local chickpea landrace originating from the Son Ajaume Nou region on Mallorca. The fruits are characterized by small seed size. The variety requires overnight soaking, and the cooking process takes longer compared to other varieties of the crop.

Sowing seeds in the ground is recommended from late December to early February at a depth of 10 cm, maintaining a distance between plants of 20 to 25 cm. Harvesting begins in May. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as plant height, exact maturity group, or disease resistance, are not described.
