The variety belongs to the Escarole type and forms large, dense rosettes. The leaves are broad, fleshy, sometimes slightly twisted, and have a delicate taste. The heart of the plant has a creamy yellow hue and is prone to natural blanching, which reduces bitterness.
The plant is frost-resistant and suitable for cultivation in the open field and under covers in various seasons. The variety is resistant to bolting, except for early spring sowings. It is used primarily fresh for salads and is also suitable for stewing.
