The Dimara variety belongs to the escarole type. The plant forms a large semi-erect bush with well-developed, dense leaves of a light, shiny shade.

The variety is distinguished by a high ability to blanch the inner part of the rosette, which allows for the sale of produce without packaging. Intended for harvesting in late spring and autumn; in cool climates, it is suitable for summer cultivation.
