The variety is mid-late maturing; the vegetation period from germination to technical maturity is 85–90 days. The plant forms a round, relatively loose head weighing about 300 g. The large, round leaves are distinguished by variegated coloration: wine-red or pinkish spots are located on a light green background.
The leaves possess a crisp texture and a piquant, moderately bitter taste characteristic of radicchio. The intensity of leaf coloration increases as daylight hours decrease. The variety is characterized by tolerance to low temperatures and is intended for fresh use in salads.
