The plant forms a large, well-filled rosette of broad, light green leaves with slightly serrated and wavy edges. The variety is capable of forming a dense heart prone to natural blanching.

The variety is mid-early or mid-late, with a period from sowing to harvest of 40 days. The plant is cold-tolerant, prefers fertile, moist soils, and is grown both by direct sowing and via transplants.

Used primarily fresh for salads. To reduce bitterness and give the leaves a tender texture, it is recommended to perform additional blanching by tying or covering the rosette 2–3 weeks before harvesting.
