The variety forms voluminous rosettes with fringed, deeply dissected dark green leaves. The thick petioles are characterized by their succulence and crunchy texture. The plant possesses a natural ability for partial self-blanching, during which the inner part of the rosette acquires a creamy-white or pale yellow shade.
The vegetation period is from 60 to 70 days. The variety is characterized by good resistance to summer heat and is suitable for autumn-winter harvesting, and in a temperate climate, it is capable of overwintering. Prefers well-drained soils without excessive waterlogging. The taste is less bitter compared to other endive varieties.
