The variety forms a large leaf rosette 45–50 cm in diameter, which has a slightly cup-shaped form. The leaves have a finely curled structure and a pronounced bitter taste, which can be softened by the blanching technique applied to the central part of the plant.
The plant exhibits resistance to heat and cold and tolerates autumn humidity well. For optimal development, the variety requires regular watering and cultivation on fertile sandy soils.
