The variety belongs to the var. latifolium group and is a classic green escarole. The plant forms a compact, voluminous and dense rosette, reaching an average height of 30 cm, with a height range that can vary from 15 to 50 cm.

The leaves of the variety are broad, thick and crisp, featuring a deeply dissected shape with slightly wavy edges. The variety is traditionally used as an autumn crop with a growing period from sowing to harvest of about three months.

The plant possesses resistance to cold and high humidity. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and is suitable for cultivation in home gardens.
