Punto F1 belongs to the Catalogna or asparagus chicory group. The plant forms upright, lush rosettes consisting of glossy, narrow, serrated leaves of dark green color. The vegetation period is approximately 75 days.

The plant possesses vigorous growth and resistance to premature bolting, which allows for harvesting over a long season. The variety is suitable for multiple cuttings of young leaves.

The chicory is suitable for cultivation in the open field in summer and autumn, as well as in protected cultivation in winter. In regions with a mild climate, it is capable of overwintering in the open field, providing early spring cuttings.
