The variety forms compact rosettes or loose oval heads up to 30 cm tall. The leaves are distinguished by a wide shape, dark crimson color, and contrasting white veins. The period from sowing to harvest is from 85 to 120 days.
The plant is cold-hardy, with the first frosts contributing to an increase in the intensity of leaf coloration and a reduction in their bitterness. Successful cultivation requires loose and well-drained soils.
The produce is used fresh for salads and is also suitable for heat treatment in risottos and pasta. The variety is suitable for obtaining both young leaves and full-grown heads.
