The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group with a vegetation period of about 160 days when grown in the field. The plant forms bulb-shaped heads and is characterized by good yield. The forcing period for finished produce typically falls in the interval from February to June.

The plant possesses resistance to sulfonylurea herbicides, which facilitates weed control at the emergence and active growth stage. The variety is not a result of using cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) technologies based on protoplast fusion.
