The variety belongs to the leaf chicory group and is characterized by the formation of large round-shaped heads with green leaves. The variety is late-maturing and is intended for cultivation during the autumn and early spring periods.
In scientific research, the variety was used to study selenium accumulation in hydroponic and aeroponic systems. During the experiments, the absence of visible signs of toxicity upon treatment with selenates and stable photosynthetic activity were noted. Analyses were conducted on the content of phenolic compounds and fatty acids in the composition of the heads.
