The variety belongs to the early or mid-early maturity group. The period from sowing to the first cutting is about 30 days. The plant forms a rosette of long, narrow, sword-like light green leaves with smooth margins and an almost absent stem.

The leaves have a succulent, crunchy texture and a flavor characteristic of the crop with a slight bitterness, which decreases during culinary processing. The plant is cold-resistant and capable of regrowth after cutting. Used fresh for salads and in dishes after heat treatment.
