The period from mass emergence to marketable maturity is 160–170 days; data on 120–140 days is also encountered. The narrow conical root crop has a yellowish-greenish color, a length of about 26.2 cm, and a diameter of up to 9 cm. The average mass of a marketable root crop is 430–500 grams. Leaves are semi-erect; on seed plants, stems reach 1.8–2 meters, flowers are blue.

The variety is characterized by resistance to bolting in the first year of cultivation, and resistance to drought and frost. Yield varies from 24 to 60.6 t/ha. The variety is for universal use, suitable for open field and protected cultivation, and adapted to dense sowing and mechanized cultivation technologies.
